Fascism, Trump and the Elites

Unfortunately, we are witnessing a resurgence of fascism. Nietzsche warned early on that democracy is always subject to conditions. A democracy is based on the guiding principle of human dignity, the cultivation of moral and universal values such as truth, compassion and beauty. A mass democracy, on the other hand, is more interested in cultivating basic instincts and suffers in times of crisis as people feel betrayed. A famous example of this is Trump, who presents himself as the new messiah to solve social problems and looks for someone to blame when he fails. Fascists need crisis, fear, hatred and scapegoats.

Behind fascism there are no ideas, but people who strive for power and despise democracy and political debate. A fascist leader is a pathological liar and is not interested in democracy, education or philosophy. Although the United States is not yet a fascist country, Trump should be viewed as such. The problem is that the American elite continues to deny reality and talk about populism instead of fascism.

The responsibility to make the best of people always lay with poets, philosophers and scribes, which was always viewed critically by those in power. Today’s elites are not interested in changing society because it would mean losing their dominant position. This is also evident in the education system, where an academic class has become increasingly stupid and incompetent. Neither the political nor the business elite care about the people, only that they vote for them, buy their products, and enroll in their academic programs. The best minds of our generation often find themselves isolated, writing unpublished books or poems. It is important that they get organized again.

Young Europeans are considered more ignorant today than they were decades ago. However, this cannot be blamed solely on them. Compared to previous generations, they now go to school with laptops, YouTube and Netflix, whereas back then it was only books. They are also under social pressure that should not be ignored. If you study art or philosophy, you are considered an outsider. The educational infrastructure is not designed to form thinkers, but rather to ensure that graduates contribute to the economic system and become good civil servants in today’s democracy.

Freedom is not easy to obtain, it is easier to obey, which is why fascism seems so attractive. Something has to be counteracted.

This is an indication that fascism and fascists are not welcome in the swarm.

If the rise of the Swarm progresses really quickly, we could help prevent Trump’s re-election. Maybe it’s just a matter of a few thousand votes…

Biden isn’t perfect either, but a catastrophe would have been avoided. What the US Democrats are missing is a young, energetic and intelligent politician with the mindset of Bernie Sanders.

Bernie Sanders is an American politician and activist who serves as a senator for the state of Vermont. He was born on September 8, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York. Sanders has had a long political career, spanning from his time as mayor of Burlington, Vermont, from 1981 to 1989 to his time as a Vermont state representative from 1991 to 2007. He has been a senator for Vermont since 2007.

Sanders is known for his progressive political positions and ideas. He is a self-described democratic socialist and advocates for a variety of issues including economic justice, social justice, environmental protection and health care.
