Social media has degenerated into anti-social media in many areas, with false reports, manipulation and haters dominating the scene. But not in the Fediverse, the alternative to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and others.

The Fediverse has existed for many years, but is still unknown to many people, still a dwarf compared to the aforementioned giants. One reason for this is probably its lack of user-friendliness. It is more for computer nerds, difficult for the average user to find their way around. It is financed by donations, but these are not enough to pay experts who could make the system more user-friendly and thus attract more users.

This is where we come in: Swarmi.org is to become an offshoot of the Fediverse that generates profits to invest them and later return them to the developers and donors (investors).

The project starts with donations, regardless of whether they are active aid or monetary donations. However, the prospect that every donation will later be rewarded with our own cryptocurrency, the WAO Coin, takes centre stage.

In order to reach millions of people, publicity is crucial so that people hear about us, become active, donate or in turn advertise for us.
That leeds to the next point:

Our domain WeAreOne.fun has the potential to reach a large number of people. “We-Are-One-Fun” is a slogan that evokes positive feelings, with the Swarmi leitmotif at the forefront. If WeAreOne.fun is filled with content by users and moderators in a similar way to TikTok or YouTube – with contributors again receiving shares in the company – this part of the project could drive the ideational aspect Swarmi.org.

The planet no longer needs successful people, the planet desperately needs peacemakers, healers, innovators, storytellers and lovers of all kinds.

This blog is just the prelude to something much bigger. The long-term goal is that the results of our endeavours will one day eclipse Facebook and others, relying on our own algorithms, which should not be subject to any secrecy.
Imagine we just could receive a part of the profit for ourselves, they make with us!

The vision described here is still just a dream – but dreaming and wishing is what drives us! And the first sales rule is fulfilled: Don’t sell a product, sell a dream! 😉
This vision reaches far into the future. Let’s work together to realise it!

The project offers a wide range of employment opportunities for those who are willing to get involved. The reward may be uncertain at first, but it has the potential for a promising reward in the future, when structures emerge from the initial chaos and an effective organisation grows up.

Ultimately, the idea of the project is not set in stone. Perhaps members who are familiar with marketing, crowdfunding etc. will find a better solution or a more effective way to encourage people to participate and donate first or invest later when the project is a firm.

What’s the plan?

We start with donations to pay lawyers and fees to issue a Swarm Coin.
That enables us to establish a stock company and/or a fund that enables us to
operate on the financial markets.
We turn our data into money.
We use technology, including AI and our SI, to organize ourselves and advance our shared finances.
Every profit is used for further growth and distributed according to the share of all members.
We establish the idea of “We-are-One” not just as an empty phrase, but as a guiding principle.

Ideas are the engine of progress and have moved humanity forward by helping to build a better future. This website was created in the hope that the idea behind this project will also make a difference. The basic idea is idealistic, but it also activates the pursuit of profit, a primal instinct of resource-seeking. This driving force could make it possible to realise a better future based on an idea.

It could be that the idea has not yet been described and presented clearly enough. There are certainly people in the world who know better how to formulate it. Let us know how you would improve the texts here.

The concept of using the domain WeAreOne.fun and adopting “WeAreOne” as our guiding principle arose late in the development process, when Swarmi.org was nearly ready for launch. After careful consideration, it now seems that making WeAreOne.fun the primary website of our community, while preserving swarmi.org as the hub for swarm intelligence, may be the optimal approach. However, the final decision rests with those who will carry the project forward in the future.

What is swarm intelligence?
Swarm intelligence describes the ability of a system to develop superior intelligence through the cooperation of many individual actors. A brain of brains emerges that is smarter than any individual member. A well-known example of this is the Kentucky Derby, where 20 horse racing enthusiasts collectively predicted the first four horses in the race and placed a $20 bet. Although none of the individuals could correctly predict all four horses, they collectively made almost $11,000 in profit because their flock prediction was correct.
This was no coincidence. Oscar winners, football results and the popularity ratings of politicians were also well predicted. Doctors have achieved better results with swarm diagnosis predictions than doctors working alone.

So far, this technology has hardly been used to make business decisions. We want to operate on the financial markets with our members’ money, give the swarm a good capital cushion and provide our members with a dividend, ideally a basic income.

As the Swarm project advances to higher levels, it should become feasible to write in any language and have it automatically translated into the reader’s language, thereby enabling global communication without language barriers.
