A WeAreOne e.V. (registered association) as part of the organization should exclusively and directly pursue non-profit and charitable purposes in the sense of the ‘tax-privileged purposes’ section of the German Tax Code. Whether this is compatible with the following ideas is a matter for legal advice.

One primary goal of this website is to raise funds through donations. These funds will be used to potentially launch a cryptocurrency or establish a stock company, as well as to cover the legal costs involved. The ultimate objective is to build capital that operates within financial markets, advancing the collective interests of “We Are One.”

Investment club

Engaging in financial market speculation using accumulated capital is governed by stringent legal regulations in Germany, and likely in many other countries as well. In Germany, this typically necessitates the involvement of a certified asset manager, obtaining written permission from Bafin (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht – Federal Financial Supervisory Authority), and compliance with its regulatory oversight.

In contrast, investment clubs operate under a distinct set of regulations. Those with fewer than 50 members and less than EUR 500,000 in paid-in funds are exempt from the requirement of obtaining written permission from Bafin. The Deutsche Schutzvereinigung für Wertpapierbesitz (DSW) serves as the umbrella organization for these clubs in Germany, with an estimated 7,000 such clubs currently active in the country.

Within an investment club, different people or groups usually work on different areas such as German equities, US equities, these equities each in 3 or 4 subgroups, foreign exchange trading, precious metals, cryptos, etc. With a maximum of 50 people in the club, there would be enough brain power for all possible areas.

Establishing an investment club under German law would therefore be one way of implementing the ideas in the next section.
Initially, there would surely be far less capital than the 500,000 euros mentioned. But should around EUR 50,000 be reached, there would probably be enough capital to turn the investment club into a professional investment fund.
If anyone is familiar with the legal requirements in their country and the requirements there are not so strict – please let us know!

An initial step in establishing an investment club involves the formation of a trading group within the forum. This group can engage in collaborative discussions, share ideas, and initiate simulated trading activities on demo accounts and realize first trades with minimal capital. After some testing of trading ideas this should foster a solid foundation for the club’s development.

Exchange of experience

I, Heiko, have over 30 years of experience on the financial markets. I bought my first shares when the Berlin Wall came down. Since then, I have watched the stock markets as a hobby and occasionally traded actively. In 2008, I discovered the Metatrader trading platform and realized that users could write their own trading programs. So I taught myself how to do this self-taught, as I had previously taught myself HTML and PHP programming. From 2011, I worked as a seller of trading software for financial markets, initially via my own website. When the inventor of Metatrader opened a marketplace for such a program in 2013, I started selling there.
In a closed group on the Swarmi website, I want to share my trading ideas, experiences and source codes with other traders and promote the Swarmi project. I do not claim to be the best trader or programmer of trading software; there are many who are better than me. If such people join the swarm, incredible things could be achieved. Again, I just want to get the ball rolling and gradually let others take the lead in this area.

I would like to disclose the source code of my automated trading systems, explain the trading idea and work together on improved solutions. In addition, automated trading systems could be provided with collective monitoring. Different working groups could monitor the trading of our systems from Monday to Friday. Together, many eyes see more than two.

Trading ideas and strategies are not rocket science!
In most cases, it’s about simple, logical relationships that can be recognized in a price chart with a little practice. If you can play a complicated strategy game >> well, you can also recognize trading opportunities in a price chart.

Sharpening your eye for good profit opportunities can be learned in working groups without having to complete a business degree. It is often intuition rather than knowledge that brings the greatest profit.

The masses are usually wrong
It is often said on the stock market that the masses are usually wrong.
To find out whether this is actually true, we can conduct surveys in the swarm. If this is indeed the case, the survey results could be useful as a contrarian indicator. And perhaps one or two will stand out due to their high accuracy. Sometimes there are people with the so-called “3rd eye”.

Trading ideas, how the swarm intelligence can help via surveys and more are then discussed in the forum. A closed circle – the investment club – will then put the most promising ideas into practice. The club may later be transformed into an investment fund.
